Dear EBA Families,
As you know, there has been increased information throughout the state regarding the health of our community. On Tuesday, March 17th, the Florida Department of Education announced that all K-12 programs should be close through April 15th. EBA will be following the MDCPS school closure schedule. Since the close of schools, EBA has sent home surveys and contacted families individually to keep you up-to-date on the changes. For updates from MDCPS, please refer to the link: http://covid19.dadeschools
We understand the unique needs of our families and hope to be a resource for you throughout the challenging time. Please check your email daily, listen to our phone blasts, access Sycamore, and respond to all surveys. These tools help us better serve you.
EBA has several educational platforms for you to access instruction, resources, and activities. Each family member will also be able to access the tools through your profiles or your child’s profile. The following educational tools will be available:
Sycamore – Our school student information system has activities posted on each classroom’s webpage.
Unique Learning – Modified Curriculum for grades K – 5th Grade with individual student access.
United Community Options Early Beginnings Academy YouTube Channel – These are all Zoom meetings and classes, daily playlist, and activities.
Zoom – Classes will be held in 30 min intervals from 9 am – 11:00 am. Zoom Codes will be available on the website on the day of the class, beginning on March 30th, and all Zoom classes will be available for viewing through the YouTube Channel.
